Our History
Three Generations of Quality Service and Solutions
James (Jim) Van Hoose moved with his family to Oklahoma City in 1963, building a successful career in the HVAC industry. In 1980, Jim founded Van Hoose Construction. He established the company on a key principle: to be a trusted partner who builds with integrity.
His son, Jeff Van Hoose, joined the firm in 1986, working alongside his father to expand the company’s capabilities and service offerings. Jim served as President until 2007, guiding the firm and laying the foundation for our reputation, built on his engineering expertise, focus on quality service, and proficiency in building strong client relationships.
After Jim’s retirement, Jeff became the Owner and President. Through his strong work ethic and seamless collaboration with clients, colleagues, architects, and subcontractors, Jeff’s leadership has further transformed the firm into one of Oklahoma’s premier commercial builders. Today, the legacy continues with the third generation actively involved in the company’s leadership, bringing new ideas and techniques to help clients achieve their goals.
